The Joint & Bone Hospital’s mission is to transform the healthcare setting into a “healing environment that improves outcome through the creative use of evidence-based design,” accommodating all clinical and non-clinical services offered by the owner — including outpatient, rehabilitation, orthotics/prosthetics, radiology, emergency, anesthesia, internal medicine, laboratory and in-patient care, forecasted at roughly 3,500 operations a year across 300 working days.
FTR NV performed construction management services for the new Silaa Community Hospital, a 15,500 m² facility with staff housing and service buildings. Part of Abu Dhabi’s push to match world-class healthcare standards, the new hospital replaces the current facility with 35 beds and services spanning general medicine, pediatrics and gynecology.
The proposed Energy Research Complex at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) is a Platinum LEED facility supporting the Kingdom’s effort to develop the world’s most advanced sustainable energy technologies. Located near Riyadh International Airport, the master plan includes more than 700 residential units alongside the research complex, commercial facilities, community and religious uses, and supporting storm drainage, water, wastewater and cooling infrastructure.
