Located adjacent to and north of the future Central Business District in Riyadh’s Eastern Suburb, Palms Valley is zoned for low, medium and high-density housing alongside mixed-use development, with a rail transit line running along the property’s north–south axis to the CBD. The plan integrates existing hydrology into a Grand Central Park and wadi that manages the watershed while doubling as a recreational and cultural corridor with mosques, museums and other institutions, with secondary parks radiating into the surrounding neighborhoods.
This 2,000,000 m² urban development is composed of functional districts organized around a curving boulevard that takes its cues from the area’s wadis.
